Tony and Jan met whilst working for an insurance company in the 1960s. They have been married for over thirty-six years, and have a grown up family of two sons and a daughter. Tony was a regular commuter to London until his retirement three years ago and is now able to work exclusively for Mr Bridge. Tony learnt to play bridge during his school days, an activity he continued with some success at University. Jan only took up the game when the family left home and, in the interests of marital harmony, she says, they seldom actually play together!

However, they are both keen golfers and it is this, and playing with their six grandchildren, which occupies most of their time.

Tony and Jan have organised a number of cruises over the past few years and their travels have taken them from the Arctic Circle to South America.
